Blanchard has recently undergone physical changes, including rhinoplasty, as part of her ongoing evolution.
“I had been wanting to go through a physical transformation to separate myself from the old Gypsy,” Blanchard told People.
Blanchard served eight years of her 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in 2016 for conspiring to murder her mother Claudine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard with her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn.
Blanchard married Ryan Anderson in a prison ceremony in 2022 but lived together for just three months after her release in late December last year.
“I felt like, you know, going into prison, growing my hair out, that was me evolving into my own back then, but then coming out of prison was another evolving moment for me," she recalled.
"So I think that right now I’m very comfortable in the way I look, and I’m proud and I have confidence now," she added.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard says she is in no rush to marry Ken Urker
After divorcing estranged husband Anderson, the 32-year-old has rekindled her romance with ex-fiance Ken Urker, and the new relationship is more than just a fling.
"We have remained friends even though we had broke up back in 2019," Blanchard, who was previously engaged to Urker in prison, told E! News on May 1.
"Even if it's at a distance. So it wasn't until I'm going through my divorce that we have reconnected," she added.
When asked about her plans to marry Urker, Blanchard confirmed to People that they are not rushing into marriage. “I’ve got to get divorced first,” Blanchard said with a laugh.
Yet, she says, "We're both very hopeful for what the future has in store."
"I think the biggest lesson that I have learned is take your time," she explained further about her life now. "I was trying to rush everything when I got out of prison."

“I don’t get to travel very often because I am on parole, so I have to get permission from my [parole officer] to travel, so I’m just enjoying tonight," she said while attending Lifetime’s Television Academy in Los Angeles.
TMZ recently obtained videos of them both holding hands and cuddling at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. According to the publication she is exploring new experiences and creating fresh memories.
