Halsey reveals release date of her new album, opens up about 'space' where she recorded it

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Halsey has shared the release date of her upcoming album!

On Wednesday, September 4, the ‘Without Me’ singer announced ‘The Great Impersonator’ album will be out next month.

When is Halsey releasing ‘The Great Impersonator'?

Halsey shared over her X account about the release date of her new album, “My 5th studio album 'The Great Impersonator' coming October 25th. I made this record in the space between life and death.” 

The singer seemed to be referring to her Lupus diagnosis and a rare T-cell disorder, reported Billboard.

The 29-year-old added, “And it feels like I’ve waited an eternity for you to have it. I’ll wait a bit longer. I’ve waited a decade, already.” 

“Pre-order available now,” Halsey informed, while sharing a cover snap from the album.

The album’s main cover art comes with a black-and-white close-up of her with rosy cheeks and a star-shaped sticker boasting the title on the forehead. 

“Step right up, ladies and gentlemen. Behold the marvel of a century. Witness the uncanny ability of a woman who can become anyone, anything your heart desires,” reads the sticker’s fine font.

Netizens congratulated Halsey after the pop star announced the release date of her fifth studio album over social media. Many reflected on her special connection with the upcoming music amid the health scare.
