WATCH: Halsey announces her new confessional concept album 'The Great Impersonator'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Halsey has announced her upcoming album ‘The Great Impersonator' where she asks herself questions that were buried deep down for long.

The ‘Without Me’ crooner also released the trailer, revealing it to be a ‘confessional’ concept album over social media on Tuesday, August 27. 

Halsey, in the clip, reviews some of the new music and also introspects her career.

The trailer begins with Halsey’s voice-over, “When you get sick like that, you start thinking about ways it could’ve all been different." The singer refers to her Lupus diagnosis and a rare T-cell disorder, reports Billboard.

“What if I debuted in the early 2000s? The ’90s? The ’80s? The ’70s? Am I still Halsey every time? In every timeline, do I still get sick? Do I become a mom?” the three-time Grammy nominee questions.

“If it all ended right now, is this a person you’d be proud to leave behind? Is it even you?” she concludes.

Halsey's last album ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power,' which was released in 2021, went on to become No 2 on Billboard 200.

She has been releasing singles ever since, including 'Die 4 Me,' 'So Good,' 'Lucky,' 'The End,' and 'Lonely Is the Muse.'

Internet can't wait to see the full album release of Halsey's latest confessional concept album. The date of the release is yet not shared by the 'Without Me' singer.
