Halsey suffers from 'very scary' health issue, days after announcing her new album's release date

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Halsey opened up about recent health condition after suffering from a “very scary” seizure.

The ‘Without Me’ singer revealed about the medical emergency while answering fans over X (formerly Twitter), on Wednesday, September 25.

Halsey responded to a fan’s query on the artist's health, “I’m home from the hospital now after a few days, so a win is a win!” 

Another user asked a follow-up question, “Was it related to chronic health issues or something new/acute? I hope you're feeling better!” to which she replied, “I had a seizure! Very Scary! Don’t recommend it!”

Halsey had been open about health challenges and recently shared that she was diagnosed with a form of lupus, SLE, and rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder in 2022, reported People.

The ‘Closer’ singer later posted a video from her hospital bed on Instagram with fiance Avan Jogia in the background, “Happy late Bi Visibility Day. This year I’m celebrating by dying with a man by my side (for legal reasons that’s a joke),” she captioned.

Halsey recently revealed the release date of her upcoming album ‘The Great Impersonator’ on the X. 

“My 5th studio album 'The Great Impersonator' coming October 25th. I made this record in the space between life and death,” she captioned.
