CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: Donald Trump added a surprise twist to his Texas rally stop on Friday, February 27, when he made an unplanned visit to a local Whataburger. The former president greeted diners, shook hands with employees, and declared “hamburgers for all,” creating a lively scene that quickly went viral.

The visit came during Trump’s rally stop to energize supporters ahead of the upcoming primaries. Cameras captured him walking through the restaurant, chatting with staff, and interacting with diners seated inside, providing a lighthearted moment amid the political focus.



Trump buys burgers and connects with diners

Videos showed Trump purchasing burgers for patrons, prompting smiles and phone cameras to go up across the dining area. He spent time behind the counter, shaking hands and exchanging a few words with staff, while the energy in the room shifted from curiosity to excitement.



A brief but loud “USA” chant broke out as Trump greeted diners, adding to the spirited atmosphere.

Margo Martin, Trump’s communications advisor, shared the videos to amplify the visit beyond the restaurant walls.

Trump was in Corpus Christi primarily for his rally stop, aimed at energizing supporters ahead of the state’s midterm primaries. During the Whataburger visit, he referenced his State of the Union address and discussed affordability challenges facing Americans.
