Harrison Ford, 82, and wife Calista Flockhart, 60, spark split rumors as couple living apart since months

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart, one of Hollywood’s longest-lasting couples, have recently sparked split rumors
Reports suggest the couple has been living apart for the past three months, raising questions about the state of their 14-year marriage, Radar Online reported.
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart spark split rumors after living separately since three months

Sources close to the couple claim that while Ford, 82, remains in Los Angeles, Flockhart, 60, has settled into life in New York City where she is currently starring in the off-Broadway play 'Curse of the Starving Class' alongside Christian Slater.
The temporary separation, initially seen as a career move for Flockhart, has left some insiders wondering if this could be the start of a permanent change.
Unlike Ford, who has been immersed in filming 'Shrinking' and promoting '1923', Flockhart is said to be embracing her time in New York with open arms.
“Calista is absolutely loving it,” a friend revealed. “She loves the crisp winter air, the cozy coffee shops, her cast-mates, and getting back to her theater roots.”
Flockhart, who famously stepped back from the spotlight to raise their adopted son Liam, now 24, has been focusing on her theater roots. Initially, her play was set to end in March, but an extension until April 6 means she will have been away from Ford for nearly three months, the longest they’ve been apart in their marriage.
The source explained, "When Calista signed on to do the play, it was meant to end in March. These extra dates mean she'll have been gone almost three months by the time she's done. It's the longest stretch of time that she and Harrison will have been apart for."
Meanwhile, Ford has been keeping himself occupied in California. He attended the SAG Awards solo and was slated to present at the Oscars, but he withdrew last-minute due to a bout of shingles. Insiders say he’s “trying not to be too clingy” while respecting Flockhart’s career resurgence.
“He calls her every night,” a source shared. "It's safe to say he is missing her a lot more than she's missing him."
"In fact, you could say she's flourishing without the demands of being Mrs Ford," an insider shared.
"She's always put her family first. Who can forget how quickly she was by his side when his plane crashed on a Santa Monica golf course 10 years ago?” a source noted. "Harrison knows what she's given up for him and Liam, so he's being as supportive as he can."
However, as their time apart grows, the source suggested this setup might become their new reality.
"Calista is clearly focused on the stage right now," they shared. "This is her second play in three years. She could decide to start spending more time in New York so she can do more of them."
Harrison Ford once revealed why he’s never shared the screen with wife Calista Flockhart

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have been together for over two decades, but despite their long-lasting relationship, they’ve never appeared in a film or TV show together. Ford finally revealed the reason behind it at an event, according to the New York Post.
Speaking at PaleyLive’s 'An Evening of Shrinking' in Beverly Hills, the 82-year-old actor said that it’s not by choice; it just hasn’t happened.
“That’s just the circumstantial reality where we haven’t been offered something where we’d work together,” Ford explained.
He was quick to add that he’d “love to work” with Flockhart if the right opportunity ever came along.
Ford and Flockhart first crossed paths at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards, when he was 59 and she was 37. Sparks flew, and their relationship flourished.
In 2009, Ford proposed during a romantic getaway, and the couple tied the knot a year later in an intimate ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
