NEWARK, NEW JERSEY: On Saturday, June 1, former President Donald Trump made an appearance at UFC 302 following his New York hush money felony conviction and was subsequently greeted by Kid Rock's ‘American Bad Ass’ playing over the arena speakers when he walked out of the tunnel with UFC President and CEO Dana White.

As fans eagerly stood to shake hands with the 2024 presumptive GOP presidential nominee while he made his way to his seat, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his former teammate Marcedes Lewis remained seated, according to HuffPost.

This caught the attention of many, especially considering Rodgers' rumored consideration as a potential running mate for independent presidential candidate and conspiracy theorist Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The UFC event was held over the weekend at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

A video circulated on social media where former President Trump could be seen walking past the football player, although it is difficult to make out whether the 77-year-old embattled ex-POTUS spotted Rodgers among the crowd.

The crowd reportedly erupted with applause as Donald Trump was introduced, with UFC fans chanting "We love Trump" at the event.
