NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Thursday, President Joe Biden's campaign launched its inaugural 60-second ad for 2024, introducing his primary campaign focus as the threat that Donald Trump allegedly poses to democracy. President Biden, in the ad, characterized followers of former Trump as part of an "extremist movement."

This came following Biden’s campaign plan to kick off the election year with a more aggressive approach, focusing on the difference between him and Trump.

On Friday, Biden is set to visit Pennsylvania and will be delivering a speech near Valley Forge linked to the third anniversary of the January 6 attack on the Capitol.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris will be in South Carolina over the weekend.

On Monday, January 8, the president intends to address the congregation at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, the site of a tragic mass shooting in 2015.

Following Biden’s first ad of the year, Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on this news.

In response, several people on the internet took a brutal jab at Biden, demanding him to “get out of their lives.”

In his tweet, Hannity presented an article from his official website, which reiterated that President Joe Biden referred to Donald Trump supporters as an “extremist movement.”

In the ad, Biden said, “I’ve made the preservation of American democracy the central issue of my presidency. I believe in free and fair elections —and the right to vote fairly and have your vote counted. Now, there is something dangerous happening in America. There is an extremist movement that does not share the basic beliefs in our democracy.”

The advertisement is a component of a $500,000 ad campaign scheduled to air over the next week during both local and national newscasts in key states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, as outlined by the campaign, per WNTH.

Additionally, more concise and customized versions of the ad will be featured on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and connected TV outlets.
