‘He sounds afraid’: Tucker Carlson skewered after he dubs Jon Stewart 'pathetic', reveals he would never have him on his show

WASHINGTON, DC: Tucker Carlson has reportedly claimed that he would never have a one-on-one with Jon Stewart as he has “no respect at all” for him.

Carlson was the co-host of CNN’s ‘Crossfire’ from 2001 to 2005. However, he was eventually terminated from his job before the shutting down of the show.

It has been said that Stewart was responsible for it because, during his 2004 appearance on the primetime news debate program, he severely blasted the commentator as well as the network for allegedly being biased against the left.

On Thursday, May 23, Carlson gave a podcast interview to media personality Patrick Bet-David, where the latter said it would be “a very interesting podcast” if the 55-year-old writer and the comedian came together for it, as reported by Mediaite.

The conservative pundit immediately shut down the proposal by saying, “He’s just so pathetic I don’t know. Yeah, it would be interesting. I want to be a good sport about it.”

He further stated, “I have such contempt for him. I guess maybe that would make it hard. I like interviewing people."

“I disagree with Chris Cuomo, I interviewed, and you know, I totally disagree with Chris Cuomo on so much, and I made fun of him so much. I’ve been really mean to him. But I don’t have contempt for Chris Cuomo at all, actually.”

“But Jon Stewart, I have total contempt for him. I have no respect at all and I never have. And that hasn’t changed in the 20 years since I last saw him,” Carlson noted, before adding, “Have you ever interviewed someone you have no respect for at all?”

Carlson did not even stop there as he continued while thrashing Stewart, “I mean, you’re pathetic. It’s not even your real name. Like, everything about you is fake. You’re just fake. And you’re kind of a dumb person posing as a smart person.”

Meanwhile, people have reacted online to Carlson’s statements about Jon Stewart.
