LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paris Hilton recently slammed her uncle Mauricio Umansky for discussing his fallout with her father Rick Hilton.

In an interview with ET, the 53-year-old responded to his niece, “Look, it’s sad that she got so upset about that, but at the end of the day, it’s two businessmen making two business decisions.”

"I felt like I deserved something. I asked for something, he didn’t want to do it, and then I chose to go off on my own,” Umansky told the outlet in reference to his fallout with ex-wife Kyle Richards’ brother-in-law.

The reality star explained, “I wanted to take care of my family, I wanted to be successful, I wanted to go forward, I wanted to do the most I could, and at the end of the day, I made that decision just to go forward with this thing.”

“There is certainly no bad blood on my side.”

What did Paris Hilton say about Mauricio Umansky?

Paris Hilton took a jab at Umansky earlier over social media, “My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family-especially in the press.”

The heiress added, “Frankly we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show. It is enough already.”

Appearing on the ‘Buying Beverly Hills’ show, Umansky spoke about the time he left the Hilton & Hyland real estate agency.

“I think I got kind of f**ked by Hilton & Hyland,” he said in the preview of his Netflix show.

“And when I say f**ked, you know, like, today I’m happy, but there was a hundred agents at Hilton & Hyland,” he continued.

“They did a billion dollars for the first time a year. I was 19.6 percent of their production.”

Umansky wanted equity in the business for his contribution, but it was rejected by Rick.

The 53-year-old founded his own company, ‘The Agency’ in 2011 after quitting the group.

Umansky also recalled how the strained relationship affected Richards. “You know, her family stopped speaking to her,” he said about his ex-wife.

“But she understood that what was done to me was wrong and she stood by me and, at the end of the day, I needed that.”

Internet comes in support of Mauricio Umansky

Internet reacted to Umansky’s defense of bringing Rick Hilton in the latest teaser of his show.

“How about they all just be quiet about it. Have your family arguments behind closed doors,” one wrote.

A user in support of Umansky said, “Team Mauricio, he was truthful and his version turned out to be true. Kathy Hilton is turning into a monster and bully. Now Paris, this is not right.”

“Paris made her point. It’s true, never have heard Rick or Kathy crying about what Mauricio did to them. They don’t run to the press,” commented one on Umansky’s statement.

A netizen slammed Paris, “Paris should be happy her dad doesn't speak publicly about his family, otherwise he would have to admit to raising a vapid, narcissistic, and useless daughter.”
