LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag Pratt grapple with heartbreak after losing their Los Angeles home to devastating wildfires.

The former 'Hills' stars, along with their sons Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, have been left with nothing but memories as they face the daunting task of rebuilding from scratch, reported by People.

During an emotional appearance on 'Good Morning America', Heidi Montag recounted the moment they had to evacuate. “Spencer was like, ‘Grab anything you want to keep,’ and I just froze. How do you choose what to save? My brain shut down from the overwhelm, so I grabbed my kids’ teddy bears.”

Spencer, fighting back tears, described the haunting sight of his children’s rooms burning.

“The worst was like our kid's room that was so magical, we do story time each night, it’s like our routine, so much love is in there. Our son’s bed started just burning in the shape of a heart. The fire started in the shape of a heart. I was like, ‘This is like, out of body insane.’”

The Pratts admitted they had no insurance coverage after being dropped by their provider, leaving them in a precarious financial situation. “We were house poor. Everything went into our home, and now it’s just gone,” Heidi explained. “We’re counting every dollar and working hard to rebuild not just a house, but our lives.”

Spencer lamented the irreplaceable losses. “I don’t have a single photo from before iPhones. All those little keepsakes you grow up with—gone.”

To raise funds, the couple has called on fans to stream Heidi’s 2010 album 'Superficial', a request that has gained support from friends and fans alike. Celebrity pals including Paris Hilton, who also lost her Malibu home, and Hills castmates like Brody Jenner and Kristin Cavallari have joined the cause, helping the Pratts begin their journey to recovery.

Heidi Montag’s 2010 debut album, 'Superficial', has claimed the Number 1 spot on iTunes, just days after the California wildfires destroyed her Pacific Palisades home.

The reality TV star, best known for her time on 'The Hills', and her husband, Spencer Pratt, have faced an emotional week navigating the aftermath of losing their multimillion-dollar property. Yet, the unexpected resurgence of Montag’s album has provided a bittersweet silver lining.

Pratt, who has been sharing updates about their ordeal on TikTok, took to social media to thank fans for their support. “Best news I’ve had in a week – which isn’t saying much,” he joked. “Thank you to everyone streaming Montag’s album. First time ever, top 50 on iTunes.”

Originally released in 2010, 'Superficial' was widely criticized and commercially underwhelming at the time, with its second single failing to chart. However, in an unexpected twist fueled by fan goodwill and viral buzz, the album has achieved unprecedented success.

As the album climbed the charts, Pratt celebrated its rise to Number 2 and encouraged fans to push it further. When it finally reached the top spot, he humorously remarked, “This is for the history books. My kids won’t know it’s because our house burned down, they’ll just think their mom was a pop superstar.”
