Roy Jones Jr warns Jake Paul of Mike Tyson's power as he recalls his fight with the former heavyweight champ

Jones Jr, who was the last person to go toe-to-toe with Tyson, shared some wisdom about the former heavyweight champ before his showdown with Paul this summer, as per Fox News

Back in November 2020, Jones Jr and Tyson settled it out in an exhibition match. On the same night, Paul made headlines by knocking out ex-NBA player Nate Robinson.

Fast forward five years, and Tyson is gearing up to face off against Paul at AT&T Stadium on July 20. Reflecting on his own experience, Jones Jr recalled taking a gut punch from Tyson and emphasized that the former champ still packs a dangerous punch.

During a chat with Shane Mosley on his YouTube show, Jones Jr spilled, "The first time he hit me in the chest, it felt like a mule had kicked me in the chest. If he hits anybody with a shot like that, they are either going out or down, especially guys who are not used to being hit like that."

He added, "With these types of people like Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis, these guys are bigger and can take it. But Jake Paul, I don’t think he’s going to be able to take that. It might hit him on the chin like that, we’ll see, but it’s going to be tough."

Netizens assert Mike Tyson will easily defeat Jake Paul

A Facebook user wrote, "Tyson will catch Paul early with a right hook and upper cut. Enjoy the 1 minute show," and another added, "Jack Paul is still going to lose but he just put on 20 pounds. I would like to Tyson jump on the gear as well and come out looking like young Tyson and knock this kid out of his shoes."

"JP is gonna meet Jesus," declared a person, while someone else remarked, "Paul has everything to prove and Tyson will want to show he still has it. If it’s a fight and not for entertainment Tyson will take him."

"Yea. Tyson definitely going to knock him out in the 3rd rounds,my prediction," opined an individual. One more simply said, "My money is on iron Mike."
