Taking to his social media on January 9, 'Happy Days' star Henry Winkler wrote, “THERE IS an ARSONIST here in LA . May you be beaten you unrecognizable !!! The pain you have caused !!!”

Nevertheless, the Los Angeles Fire Department has not yet confirmed the involvement of any arsonist. Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said Thursday, January 9, "The cause of the fire remains unknown, and it continues to be under active investigation," reported Fox News

However, there were several celebrities, including Winkler, who were not pleased with the explanation as they came up with their own theories about the wildfires.

The outlet reported that the "Dancing with the Stars" pro Peta Murgatroyd re-shared a tweet by political and cultural media personality Xaviaer DuRousseau that read, "LOS ANGELES / SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THERE ARE AT LEAST FIVE MEN GOING AROUND IN SKI MASKS STARTING FIRES. KEEP AN EYE OUT."

Singer Chris Brown too wrote on his Instagram Stories on Thursday, "Someone starting these fires. S--- don't add up."

TV personality Elizabeth Chambers questioned the theory of nature causing the fire as she posted a screenshot of reports questioning the same, writing on her Instagram Stories, “Feels like this is a lot more than nature.”

Celebrity podcaster and neuroscientist Andrew Huberman shared another video on X that allegedly showed a group of people standing near what looked like freshly started fires in Santa Monica.

Huberman wrote, "People are lighting fires in otherwise non-burning areas of LA," before adding, "We don’t need more flames out here. Some of those guys lit that fire … the tree has caught fire, and the palms are catching fire."

Nevertheless, despite the widespread speculations, the Los Angeles Police Department has denied the claim. "We have not received any reports of arson," they told Fox News.

Several netizens agreed with Henry Winkler's theory, with some saying they too were thinking the same.

One of the social media users said, "More than one you can bet on it. God bless you all and I am so sorry this is happening."

"Sadly Henry I think there is more than one active arsonist running around," added someone else.

One person noted, "You think one arsonist could do this Henry? I beg to differ."

"I was thinking the same thing. I was watching the pattern around where the fires were popping up. They looked ignited and accelerated," penned another.

One individual remarked, "Arsonist or terror attack - there's no way fire's just combust from nothing when winds are in a different direction and/or they're popping up that far apart."
