Shortly after, both 'Texas Hold ‘Em' and '16 Carriages' debuted on streaming platforms to immediate success, with 'Texas Hold 'Em' amassing 19.2 million streams and '16 Carriages' garnering 10.3 million streams, placing it ninth on the country chart, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

In response to outcry from Beyonce's fanbase, the BeyHive, Entertainment Weekly reported that Columbia Nashville announced the official promotion of 'Texas Hold ‘Em' to country radio stations on February 14. Although the prospect of the songs hitting country radio stations wasn't initially certain, station managers confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that they were already playing the track, with overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Travis Moon of 93Q Country shared with Entertainment Weekly, “I added the song because it's a great song, and I'm excited because it just sounds so freaking good on the radio. And if there are some of her fans who listen to the song on my radio station that like some other songs, that's actually good for my station.”

However, recent criticism of Beyoncé's track 'Texas Hold 'Em' emerged from actor John Schneider, who likened her album to the sound of a dog urinating, sparking backlash.
