NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Katy Perry has reignited rumors of a split from her fiance Orlando Bloom after fans noticed she was not wearing her engagement ring during the Australian leg of her world tour.
The singer shared a video on Instagram earlier this week feeding a kangaroo, but it wasn’t the wildlife that caught followers’ attention. Perry’s iconic pink diamond ring was missing, fueling speculation about trouble in paradise.

The couple, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019, have long been considered one of Hollywood’s standout romances. However, a source close to the pop star now claims their relationship may be nearing its end.
Katy Perry sparks split rumors with missing engagement ring
The ring’s sudden absence didn’t go unnoticed. “She knew that taking off her engagement ring would send a clear message,” an insider told the US Sun, suggesting that Perry may be signaling the end of her relationship with Bloom.

The insider said, "Katy confided in friends at the start of the year that their relationship was as good as done.”
The individual further said that Perry and Bloom “decided to hold off on announcing anything in case things improved between them.” The source then revealed the reason, stating, “They are desperate to stay together for the sake of their daughter.”
Katy’s floral-inspired engagement ring, gifted by Bloom during a romantic rooftop proposal in Los Angeles, features a vivid pink center stone is believed to be a rare sapphire or ruby, surrounded by eight white diamonds, reported Reality Tea, a celebrity gossip website.
Jewelry designer Sophia Perez explained its unique design: “Katy Perry’s engagement ring from Orlando Bloom is nothing short of extraordinary. The pink centre stone is a bold, joyful choice and beautifully complements Katy’s vibrant personality.”
Perez estimated the ring’s value at between $300,000 and $400,000, depending on the quality of the stones. “The kind of ring that clearly holds meaning beyond its sparkle,” she added.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship under strain over his solo wedding trip
Further hinting at a possible split, it has been reported that Bloom will attend the high-profile Venetian wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez alone, as per reports by New York Post.
The couple, who first met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016, have spent little time together this year.

Perry has been busy touring, while Bloom is currently in Dublin filming 'Bucking Fastard'.
“The star couple has spent barely any time together this year,” the insider noted.
“It’s been a hard year so far. They wanted to wait until the tour is over before they made their split official,” the source continued, alleging that the singer “has grown tired of the situation.”
In a 2024 episode of the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, Perry admitted their early dynamic was unbalanced.

“We weren’t really in it from day one,” she said. “He was in a way because he had just done a time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was just like, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond.’”
