In January, Baldwin was indicted on felony charges of involuntary manslaughter in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, and now faces up to 18 months in prison if convicted.

Baldwin was given until October 27 to decide on the offer, which he reportedly received on October 5. However, prosecutors withdrew the deal on October 17 and informed Baldwin's legal team that they were proceeding with a grand jury. The reasons for this sudden change remain unclear.
