'HIMYM' star Nicholas Pasqual extradited back to California after being accused of stabbing GF Allie Shehorn over 20 times

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicholas Pasqual attempted to flee to Mexico but has been extradited back to California on Wednesday night, June 12th at 8  pm.

This comes after Nicholas Pasqual, 34, accused of stabbing his makeup artist girlfriend over 20 times. 

Then, he has been arraigned on charges including attempted murder, burglary and domestic violence. 

These felony charges arise from the violent attack on Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn, 35, during the early hours of May 23rd.

"How I Met Your Mother" (HIMYM), actor is also facing charges related to another assault on Shehorn, as per DailyMail.

This incident occurred three days before the stabbing incident, prompting her to seek a restraining order against him after he allegedly slammed her head onto the floor of their residence.

LA Districk Attorney Geroge Gascon calls Nicholas Pasqual's action as 'henious incident'

A spokesperson for LA District Attorney George Gascón praised the extradition, stating, "Nick Pasqual was extradited from Texas and arrived at LAX on Wednesday, June 12 at 2000 hours. He was transported/booked."

They continued, "Yesterday, Thursday, June 13, Pasqual was arraigned in Dept. S at the San Fernando Courthouse. He is being held without bail."

The actor is now scheduled for a preliminary hearing in the case on July 16 and will remain incarcerated at LAPD’s Valley Jail until then.

Pasqual was brought back to LA from Sierra Blanca, a town with a population of just 315 according to the 2020 census, located 16 miles from the Mexican border.

Gasco has pledged to prosecute the case vigorously, describing the attack as 'heinous' following its revelation two weeks ago.

He asserted, “This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.”

Who is Allie Shehorn?

Shehorn, a respected makeup artist, continues to recuperate in the hospital and has been transferred from the ICU.

According to the latest update on her GoFundMe page, created to aid in her recovery, friends reported she has encountered challenges but remains optimistic.

Close friend Jed Dornoff stated, "Things got real. Allie is doing her best to stay positive but the struggle is hard. There are complications that we cannot release to the public at this time. But she is feeling better and appreciates the love and support."

Allie Shehorn endured months of abuse from Nicholas Pasqual

Shehorn endured months of abuse from Pasqual. She got a restraining order on May 18 after he slammed her head and tried to break down their home's door in Sunland.

During the incident around 3 am, Shehorn said Pasqual, who was intoxicated and yelled at her, "He slapped me across the face and as I was trying to get away down the hallway, he grabbed my hair and pulled me back and I slammed into the floor hitting the back of my head on the ground."

Shehorn sought refuge in  ‘surrogate mother’ Christine White's bedroom, but Pasqual allegedly tried to break down the door. When she opened it, he pushed it against her, causing her to fall and hit her head again.

Shehorn suffered a concussion from the attack. Pasqual also threatened White when she called 911.

Pasqual faced charges of felony domestic violence but was released on bail the same day. Three days later, he allegedly attacked Shehorn again.

According to Shehorn's restraining order application, Pasqual had previously attacked her, including hitting her with a belt on January 29, breaking down doors on March 6, and assaulting her on April 14.

Shehorn stated, "He has been violent in the past but never physically with me apart from two nights where he ripped clothes off of me."

Shehorn also requested protection for White and their dog Riley in her application.

A hearing to extend the restraining order was scheduled for June 11 in Pasadena, and Pasqual was due in court in San Fernando on June 12, but he missed these dates because he was in custody in Texas.
