'Today' host Hoda Kotb hints she's open to dating Kevin Costner amid fans 'shipping' them
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hoda Kotb recently hinted that she is open to dating actor Kevin Costner.
The popular 'Today' host, during a Q&A session on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ realized that fans desperately want the two stars to date.
“How do you feel about viewers ‘shipping’ you and Kevin Costner after he appeared on ‘Today’ last month?” a fan from the live audience asked Kotb.
“And have the two of you connected since?” the fan added.

The 59-year-old took a second to process the question and responded with, “Wait, what?”
Then host Andy Cohen explained the online phenomenon and told Kotb, “The viewers want the two of you together.”

“I have never heard that, not one time,” she answered.
“Well, you heard it now, you up to it?” co-host Savannah Guthrie said, adding “Give the people what they want.”
“Well, if the viewers want it,” Kotb joked while looking in the camera.

Jenna Bush Hager talks about Kevin Costner and co-host Hoda Kotb as a potential pair
Even during Wednesday’s episode of 'Today With Hoda and Jenna,' co-host Jenna Bush admitted that she’s aware that many fans want to see Kotb and Costner form a pair.
“I didn’t know you and Kevin were shipping! I didn’t even know what shipping meant,” Bush quipped.
“I actually did know because people were coming up to me on the street, and people were like, ‘You should set up Hoda and Kevin Costner,'” she continued, adding “And I was like, ‘wow, I didn’t know they were flirting behind my back.”
Producers then cheekily played back clips of Kotb and Kevin Costner on set of the talk show last month as Bush teased her co-anchor was nervously “rubbing [her] arm” while talking to Costner. The clip was later shared on Instagram with fans getting all restless.
Kotb was previously married to Burzis Kanga from 2005 to 2008, reports PageSix.
She then went into a long-term relationship with her ex-fiance Joel Schiffman from 2015 to 2022.
Meanwhile, Costner recently split with Christine Baumgartner whom he was married from 2004 to 2023. He was previously married to Cindy Costner from 1978 to 1994.
