LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hoda Kotb is reportedly ready to embrace the “suburban mom life” following her departure from ‘The Today Show’ after almost two decades.

The 60-year-old journalist will leave the show on January 10 to focus on the “little things” with her adopted daughters — Haley, 7, and Hope, 4 — and “being present” for them after allegedly having a feud with her co-anchors, as per RadarOnline.com.

“Like, I’ve been hugged more in this last week than probably in almost the entirety of my life and it’s been really pretty magical,” she noted.

The TV personality also went on to mention her life with her daughters as she shared, “It's little things, it's taking them to school, it's being at the games, you know, it's being present, and that's all I want. Suburban mom life, let's go!”

Kotb has even bought a minivan for life but claimed that her co-host Jenna Bush Hager “doesn’t recognize” her changed behavior.

“I got a minivan. We're in it. I didn’t know I was going to be such a suburban mom, but I turned. Jenna [Bush Hager] keeps going, 'Who are you? Like, I do not recognize you,’” she revealed.

Regarding her children, the author mentioned that she wants the girls to know that “the most important decision that I ever made in my life was having them and the most important people in my life are them. That's what I want them to know.”

Hoda Kotb ‘doesn't want to be bitter’ due to rumored office politics

This came after a source disclosed that Kotb was inspired by her pal Kathie Lee Gifford and decided to focus more on her personal life.

“All the stress of that job took a toll on her, so she wants to put that right with some healthy new measures like getting rid of anything that reminds her of those toxic days, deleting and archiving old files, and giving herself time to reflect, rest and relax,” they shared.

The tipster further spilled, “Hoda doesn't want to be bitter. She has a lot of fun plans in store for her kids and herself.”

“She's writing in her journal a sort of goodbye letter to Today that she'll never send, which is helping release angst and anxiety. Savannah and Jenna were always backstabbing b***hes to her and Hoda won't miss the drama!” the insider mentioned.

Besides, another source claimed that Kotb’s popularity among fans “has always bothered” Savannah Guthrie.

“They love her. When they go into the plaza, there are always more people wanting to take pictures and talk with Hoda. It drives Savannah crazy!” they added.
