A source revealed that Kate, "slowly makes good on her vow to restore some kind of peace and forgiveness between the estranged royal and his family before it's too late."

Insiders close to Team Sussex in Montecito, California, disclosed that Prince Harry valued his semi-estranged sister-in-law's attempts with the message.

King Charles shared a photo of Prince Harry on social media, cropping out Meghan Markle, who was originally in the 2018 image taken during a visit to Dublin. Alongside the photo, the monarch wrote, "Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!"

Prince William and Kate Middleton followed suit, resharing the same image and adding, "Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!"
