This comes after a recent event where Harry and Meghan Markle visited the Godmothers bookstore in Summerland. They mingled with notable friends and family of literary agent Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and cosmetics icon Victoria Jackson on Friday, September 6.

Harry's praise for Winfrey has sparked online trolling, particularly in light of his strained relationship with the royal family.

The event, featuring performances by Chappell Roan and Carole King, also attracted a host of celebrities, including Ellen DeGeneres and Jane Lynch, creating a star-studded atmosphere.

Photos from the evening capture a smiling and glamorous duchess embracing Oprah, who had interviewed them for their explosive 2021 broadcast. Other images show Harry and Meghan happily posing outside the bookstore with its founders.

When asked for book recommendations, Harry humorously pointed to a copy of his memoir, 'Spare'. Victoria, who has been close to the royal couple since their move to California four years ago, expressed her joy at seeing them in a space where they feel secure, saying, “It’s everything we hoped it would be.”

She added, “Their support, and the light that it will shine on Godmothers, is pretty extraordinary.”
