Hugh Hefner’s ex-wife Kimberly Conrad calls out his widow Crystal for trashing him 'to make a quick buck'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The former wife of Hugh Hefner has blasted his widow Crystal Hefner for reportedly revealing dark secrets about the Playboy mansion while promoting her book ‘Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself’.

Kimberley Conrad, who was Hugh’s wife for two decades and became the mother of his two children, said, as per TMZ, “As a few people speak their version of their idea of events in hopes of riding a wave of headline relevance, and making a quick buck, we should all ask ourselves whether we want to live in an environment where people refuse to take accountability and use words loosely like 'force' and 'survive' to describe choices they made willingly at a certain point in their own lives.”

As per the 61-year-old model, Crystal could have easily left the late magazine publisher but she stayed to gain “notoriety, opportunity and money”.

She stated, “We should be wary of those who try to destroy things because they are no longer benefiting from them,” before adding, “If you want to talk about exploitation, this is exactly what these women have done with Hef in his later years and at the end of his life.”

Kimberly also focused on her late ex-husband and dubbed him as a “pioneer of free thought and expression” and a “leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time, advocating for free speech, integrity, sexual freedoms, and civil rights.”

‘Both parties knew what the other was after’

Meanwhile, Kimberly’s attack on Crystal has gained some attention online with a user on Facebook saying, “She's only invalidating these survivor stories because she stands to lose money herself. She's a victim too but refuses to believe it and instead voices her opinion on something she frankly has no idea about.”

Another user wrote, “Always amazes me when one of these old perverts die there's a load of story's come out how depraved behind closed doors there were these young lady knew what this guy was like but they looked past it to live rent free and a lavish lifestyle they could leave at any time if they had any self-respect but chose to freeload.”

The third user shared, “I don’t feel sorry for him. He had to know all these beautiful girls didn’t like him for his looks🤪.”
