LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are embracing their relationship after going public earlier this year.
The couple, who have known each other for years, are focused on building a future together.

While they are not officially living together, they are spending a good amount of time together as a couple.
“They’re not officially living together but spending a lot of time together,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that the pair are “relieved and happy” to be out of hiding.

Jackman, 56, and Sutton Foster, 49, were first romantically linked in October 2024. Their friendship reportedly turned romantic during their time in the 2022 Broadway revival of 'The Music Man' while they were both still married.
Jackman and his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, announced their divorce in September 2023. Foster, filed for divorce from Ted Griffin in October 2024.

The couple went public in January when they were seen kissing outside a fast-food restaurant in California.

"It felt like the right time as their relationship has gotten stronger,” the insider told the publication regarding their decision to go public.
Another source noted, “They’ve known each other for so long that it’s easy to fall into the next stage of their relationship.”
While moving in together is not yet part of their plans, Jackman and the Foster are thinking about their future.
“They’re not rushing into marriage but are committed to taking the next steps together,” another source told the outlet.

Even as their romance grows, a separate report raised concerns about the challenges they face due to scrutiny and distance.
Jackman left for Northern Ireland to shoot 'The Death of Robin Hood' just weeks after finalizing his divorce from Deborah-Lee Furness, reportedly causing Sutton Foster to feel pressure.
“Hugh and Sutton are completely in love and relieved they don’t have to hide it anymore, but unfortunately for Sutton, it’s come with a whole host of other problems,” a friend told Woman’s Day.

"And Hugh being on the other side of the world filming certainly isn’t helping either. The pressure is starting to get to her these days,” the source added, as per Sky News.
Additionally, Jackman was reportedly upset when he heard that he was being labeled as "needy."
The source continued, "…But more than that it’s put their romance through its first test – and things are not looking good."
Notably, Jackman and Furness share two adult children, Ava and Max.

It was previously reported that Foster and Jackman’s romance during 'The Music Man' was the “reason” he and Furness “got divorced.”
