The dramatic moment unfolded on Tuesday, June 17, shortly after the actor wrapped a matinee performance of his off-Broadway play, and it was a couple of quick-thinking passersby who came to his rescue to escape an overwhelming crowd of fans.

On Tuesday, Hugh Jackman, 56, was spotted outside Radio City Music Hall, where he is set to headline his ‘From New York With Love’ concert this Friday.

The moment he appeared, a swarm of ecstatic fans surrounded him, eager for autographs and selfies. Ever the gentleman, Jackman flashed his signature smile, happily engaging with the crowd and signing items while exchanging cheerful banter.

After several minutes, he politely thanked the fans and attempted to slip away, picking up his pace as he walked down the sidewalk. But the growing crowd wasn’t ready to let him go.
