Hugh Jackman plans wedding with Sutton Foster near ex Deborra-Lee Furness’ town to ‘rub it in her face’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are reportedly moving full steam ahead with wedding plans once their divorces are finalized.

Sources say Jackman wants a lavish beachside ceremony "to rub it in the face of ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness," not far from where she currently lives with their two children.

The idea of a “made-for-camera I-told-you-so ceremony” came from Hugh Jackman himself, insiders told RadarOnline.

Jackman, 55, is said to be fully smitten with Sutton Foster and ready to start over. “They’re already making plans to remarry openly,” the source claimed.

Jackman sees Byron Bay not only as home but also as the perfect setting for their new beginning.

As the insider added, “Australia will always be home for Hugh, no matter where he lives, no matter who he’s with."

"Jackman’s favorite place is Byron Bay – the beautiful and iconic surf town that would substitute Deb for wedding of ideas as her territory," the source said.

Hugh Jackman considers raising more children with Sutton Foster

According to the source, Hugh Jackman remains deeply connected to his roots and is open to expanding his family with Sutton Foster.

“He has the heart and soul of the people. And it’s where most of his family is, he truly hasn’t ruled out raising more kids,” said the insider.

Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness share two children, Oscar, 25, and Ava, 18, who are currently living with their mother in the same coastal region. “It’s not far from where Deb and the kids are now. It’s kind of a power move by Hugh to claim Deb may be the high road,” the source added.

While Hugh Jackman looks forward, Deborra-Lee Furness is reportedly preparing to fight back. According to the publication, she “is vowing to get even with Jackman by blowing out his bank betrayal and sharing his darkest secrets.”

Sources claim Jackman’s decision to marry in Byron Bay is both sentimental and strategic. 

“He loves Byron Bay. People don’t always believe it, but Hugh sees it as a perfect wedding place – he loves that it says so much without even trying to make a word,” the insider concluded.

Jackman and Furness announced the amicable end of their marriage in September 2023, saying they were "blessed to share almost 3 decades together."

Furness officially filed for divorce in May 2025 and released a statement to the Daily Mail, claiming that Jackman betrayed her.

"It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however, I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working for us," she said.
