Since 2023, rumors about the two having an affair, which began when they were co-stars in 'The Music Man', have been doing rounds on social media. The rumors were further ignited when they were seen hanging out together after they both filed for divorce from their partners.

An old post of Hugh Jackman on X from 2015 is a 10-year foreshadowing of his rumored current situation, according to Distractify. An X user called @hcwletts reshared the actor's old tweet and captioned it, "Unfortunately this just became the funniest tweet in history."

In the post, the 'Wolverine' star was on the phone and smiling at a plate of cookies in what seemed to be a coffee shop. Jackman captioned the photo of him being entranced by the dessert with a Shakespearean question to his fans, per the outlet.

He wrote, "To cheat or not to cheat - that is the question!?"

Interestingly, Jackman couldn't have known the amount of weight his 2015 tweet about cheating would carry after ten years. However, considering his reaction to the rumors that he and Sutton had an affair since the news became public, it can be regarded that Jackman isn't bothered by too many people's opinions of him, per Distractify.

Jackman was dressed casually in white trousers, a grey tee, and a black zip-up jacket for the date night, whereas Foster was dressed impeccably in an olive column dress and a tan trench coat.

Their romance unfurled after their respective divorces from their former spouses. In September 2023, the 'X-Men' actor parted ways from his wife of three decades, Deborra-Lee Furness.
