NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Pro wrestling icon Hulk Hogan is recovering and in stable condition following a recent neck surgery, despite a wave of rumors that falsely claimed the 71-year-old was on his deathbed.

On Tuesday, June 17, a representative for the WWE Hall of Famer addressed the growing speculation, telling E! News that there was “no reason to panic.”

The rep confirmed that Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, did undergo a routine spinal fusion procedure and is doing well post-op.

Hulk Hogan’s rep shuts down deathbed rumors

“He’s had problems with his back for years,” the rep explained, noting that the recent procedure was “indeed successful.”

Back in May, his rep told TMZ that Hogan was just undergoing a “little fusion procedure.”

The health scare chatter escalated after YouTuber Bubba the Love Sponge claimed during a livestream that Hogan was in critical condition and “might not make it.”

The unverified claims quickly spread online before Hogan’s team stepped in to set the record straight.

The “Real American” star has been candid about his years of physical wear and tear from decades in the ring.

Speaking on Jake Paul’s 'IMPAULSIVE' podcast last fall, he revealed he’s had “around 25 surgeries in the last 10 years,” including 10 on his back alone.

“I’ve had both knees and hips replaced,” he said at the time. “Shoulders—everything.”

Despite his ongoing health battles, Hogan has remained active in public life. He married Sky Daily in 2023, marking his third marriage, and often shares glimpses of his life on social media.

Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke opened up about strained relationship with parents

News of Hulk Hogan’s recent hospitalization comes on the heels of a public and emotional revelation from his daughter, Brooke Hogan, about the fractured dynamics within their family.

In an Instagram post dated March 27, Brooke, 37, opened up about her strained relationship with both of her parents.

“No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother,” she wrote.

The post reflected years of emotional distance. “I so badly wanted to see good in them, protect, help, and start anew just to be disrespected again and again. I longed for a normal family, but it never came to fruition,” she said.

She concluded her post by stating that her parents’ behavior “became more painful than their absence.”

Hulk Hogan’s latest TV appearance sparks buzz over odd facial hair choice

Hulk Hogan made a surprise appearance on 'Fox & Friends' on May 1 to announce the launch of 'Real American Freestyle Wrestling', a new competition series set to debut in Cleveland on August 30.

The project, co-led with longtime wrestling promoter Eric Bischoff, will feature elite male and female athletes in a single-match format across 12 weight classes.

But despite the big reveal, the internet was far more captivated by Hogan’s unexpected appearance.

Viewers took to social media to comment on his dramatically altered look, a dyed jet-black beard clashed noticeably with his signature white handlebar mustache. He was dressed in a t-shirt emblazoned with “America first, beer second,” and wore his classic red bandana.

His ex-wife, Linda Hogan, has publicly accused him of being a “complete liar,” reigniting long-simmering tensions within the Hogan family.
