Hulk Hogan's wife Sky Daily reveals he was dealing with health issues in tribute: 'My heart is in pieces'

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Hulk Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, shared a heartfelt message following the death of the wrestling icon.
She revealed the WWE legend had been battling health issues in recent months, which made the loss even more devastating.

Sky Daily's heartbreaking tribute to husband Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died Thursday, July 24, at the age of 71. He suffered cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida, home and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Daily, Hogan’s third wife expressed her grief on social media on Friday, July 25. “I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces,” Sky Daily wrote.
“He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time," she said.
Although concerns about Hogan’s health had been dismissed publicly in recent months, including by longtime friend Jimmy Hart, who called Hogan’s condition “phenomenal,” Daily’s post painted a different picture of his private struggle.

Sky Daily calls Hulk Hogan's death 'impossible to process'
In her emotional post, Sky Daily shared what Hulk Hogan meant to her beyond his fame.
“This loss is sudden and impossible to process,” she wrote. “To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”
She also shared how much Hogan cared for his supporters even while experiencing physical pain.
“He loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all,” she added.

Daily then offered a message to his loyal fan base: “You meant everything to him.”
Hulk Hogan’s wife finds comfort in his faith
Sky Daily spoke of Hulk Hogan’s Christian faith as a source of peace for her.
“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home,” she said. “Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”

Hogan and Daily were first seen together in February 2022 at a Bret Michaels concert. He announced their engagement in July 2023, and the couple married two months later in a small ceremony in Florida.

Hogan had two previous marriages: one to Linda Hogan from 1983 to 2009, with whom he shared two children, Brooke and Nick, and another to Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 until their divorce in 2021.
