‘I found it terrifying’: Jonny Lee Miller reveals he once jumped out of a plane to impress Angelina Jolie
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jonny Lee Miller, the star of 'Trainspotting', has opened up about his daring attempt to impress his ex-wife Angelina Jolie in the 1990s.
The actor revealed that he agreed to jump out of an airplane with Jolie, who was his girlfriend at the time, even though he was scared out of his wits.

Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller, the former pair met on the set of the 1995 film 'Hackers' where they played computer hackers who fall in love.
They got married in 1996, but their relationship was short-lived and they divorced in 2000.
Miller said that the 'Maleficent' actress was always adventurous and fearless and that she once surprised him with a trip to a parachute school in California.
Jolie had suggested they jump out of an airplane and had booked a surprise visit to a local southern parachute school.
"I was dating a young lady called Angelina and she said ‘let’s do something exciting this weekend’ and ‘why don’t we go to Hemet, it’s just outside of LA, and jump out of an airplane?’ I thought, ‘yeah of course sounds great’,” he told Radio X’s Johnny Vaughan.
Jonny Lee Miller says he was terrified of skydiving
Miller admitted that he was terrified of skydiving, but he went along with Jolie’s plan to impress her.
He said that they did tandem jumps where they were attached to an instructor, and that Jolie was calm and cool throughout the experience.
“She was cool as a cucumber, fearless that woman. And so, we did tandem jumps and I’m not going to lie, I found it terrifying but I did it anyway,” he said, Mirror reports.
He added that they did three jumps in total, and that they even trained for a solo jump, but luckily for him, the weather was too windy and they had to cancel it.
“I mean we actually did it three times, we did this programme where you do a bit more technical stuff each jump, and then we trained for a solo jump and then thank goodness it was too windy so we didn’t do the solo jump,” he said.
