Reports of their affair surfaced in November, nearly six months following the split between the 'Yellowstone' actor and his wife, Christine Baumgartner.

In a conversation with Elle Magazine, Jewel remarked, "He's a great person," as she blushed. She added, "[But] the public fascination is intense for sure."

When did Jewel and Costner meet?

Last year during Thanksgiving, the two were seen together on a private island in the Caribbean.

TMZ reported, as told by an onlooker, "There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up."

The two met through mutual friend Richard Branson, who invited them both to his private island, per DailyMail.

According to a source, ex-wife Christine was relieved that he didn’t pursue a "fame-seeking bimbo."

"She said she's happy for him, but it still isn't a great feeling seeing your ex with someone new," the close friend added.

The former partners continue to co-parent three children, Cayden (16), Hayes (14), and Grace (13). Christine receives $63,209 a month in child support from Costner.
