ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA: Staff at the Ontario Advanced Surgery Center in California were recorded on video trying to block Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting a Honduran landscaper on Tuesday, July 8.

The video even showed a staff member telling a federal officer, "You don’t even have a warrant for him." The incident took place at the surgery center, which is located about 30 miles east of Los Angeles.

The video, which went viral across social media, showed one of the staff members in blue scrubs saying, "Get your hands off of him. Let him go. You need to get out," while shielding the man from an immigration agent.

The landscaper detained by ICE was Dennis Guillen-Solis, a 30-year-old Honduran national.

He was reportedly working as a landscaper outside the building when ICE agents arrived to serve warrants for two undocumented men.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) took to X and wrote, "ICE officers conducted a targeted enforcement operation to arrest two illegal aliens. Officers in clearly marked ICE bullet proof vests approached the illegal alien targets as they exited a vehicle."

"One of the illegal aliens, Denis Guillen-Solis who is from Honduras, fled on foot to evade law enforcement. He ended up near the Ontario Advanced Surgical Center where hospital staff assaulted law enforcement and drug the officer and illegal alien into the facility," the post added.

It further mentioned, "Then, the staff attempted to obstruct the arrest by locking the door, blocking law enforcement vehicles from moving, and even called the cops claiming there was a 'kidnapping.'"

Meanwhile, Javier Hernandez, executive director of the Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice, told a news agency that agents arrested the Honduran man following the struggle inside the clinic.

The man was reportedly sending money to Honduras to help his mother with her dialysis treatments, Hernandez added.

Interestingly, in another incident on Tuesday, protesters clashed with ICE agents wielding batons outside the San Francisco Immigration Court.

Internet sides with ICE agents as they arrest Honduran man

Several internet users sided with ICE agents as the staff at the Ontario Advanced Surgery Center in California tried to block them from arresting a Honduran man.

A user wrote on X, "Let’s get it done. Arrest and deport the illegals," while one added, "Agree! They all need to be arrested!"

A person also stated, "Arrest every one of these impediments. Federal charges. Period," whereas one mentioned, "ICE boys are doing great."

A user also wrote, "Arrest for aiding and abetting. Dems whine no one is above the law, yet get in the way of people trying to uphold our immigration laws," while one commented, "Get arrest warrants for each of the staff that interfered. It's on video...no questions need to be asked...cuff and stuff."

A person added, "They should be arrested right there on the spot."
