"I think it’s just, you get to a point in your life where you realize that all the things that have conspired really to get you to this point are beautiful," he said.

"And I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to reflect and look at my life and say like, “wow this is really cool” and just be thankful for it," the former member of NSYNC added.

He played his new album – which drops on March 15 – for his family and friends who noticed that some of the songs reminded them of his previous albums.

"I was starting to play it for people close to me and they kept saying, oh that reminds me of something from 'Justified' my first album or that reminds me of something from 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' my second album," he said.

He explained that the title of the album came from the feedback he received from his loved ones.

"And then finally you know I finished playing them the songs and they said, “This sounds like everything we know you for, everything we thought we wanted from you.”

"And so that phrase started floating around in my mind," he added.

"If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it," Britney wrote in her memoir 'The Woman In Me', adding, "And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father."

Spears further explained what she went through back then, writing, "To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."
