Influencer Breckie Hill responds to 'crazy' Barry Keoghan cheating rumors amid Sabrina Carpenter split

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Influencer Breckie Hill has put an end to circulating online rumors that actor Barry Keoghan cheated on Sabrina Carpenter with her prior to their recent breakup.

The 21-year-old social media star took to TikTok on Saturday, December 7, to address her 4 million followers and deny any role in the online drama that has been making the rounds.

The social media influencer maintained that she has only seen seen the 32-year-old actor on screen despite rumors that she was the reason behind Keoghan's breakup with pop sensation Carpenter, 25.

Hill claimed that reports that she and the 'Saltburn' star had a romantic dinner together while Carpenter was finishing up her tour in Los Angeles were false, per Daily Mail.

Hill stated in the video, which was captioned 'Addressing everything', "To put it simply for you all, no, I did not get with Barry. I have never even encountered this man in my life. The only time I’ve seen him is on my TV screen from watching 'Saltburn'."

Hill responded to rumors that she and Keoghan went to San Vicente Bungalows and BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles together on November 18 — the same night Carpenter played in the city — after Hill shared speculative Snapchat videos on social media.

The influencer acknowledged that the only reason she reposted a widely shared video accusing her of "homewrecking" the couple was because she found the allegation "so ridiculous."

"I’m sorry, but if I really was the one getting with Barry, why in the world would I be reposting that? Coming from someone who has been cheated on … I would never want to homewreck any relationship or put any girl through that pain — ever," Hill added.

Hill went on to say that she went to BOA Steakhouse "with my friends getting dinner" and shared her thoughts on the drinks there in her Snapchat videos.

She said, "I gave the margarita a six out of 10 because I said it was too salty. Someone I guess took that the wrong way and thought I was making a Saltburn reference after finding out that Barry was staying at a hotel near BOA," per People.

"And then, another drink I was reviewing happened to be called a ‘Blackberry Smash’ on the BOA Steakhouse menu, which this person then thought was also a Barry reference," Hill continued.

She went on to describe the cheating rumors as "crazy," adding that she had reposted the videos while "lying in a hospital bed" following a recent break to her spine.

Hill added, "Now that that has all been said, I just wanted to say I’ve never gone through a worse time in my life. I’ve just been constantly told the worst possible things you can imagine."

Hill urged people to let the truth win out and to stop spreading rumors in her closing remarks.

Breckie Hill's post followed Keoghan's announcement that he had recently deactivated his Instagram account and reacted to the "lies, hatred, disgusting commentary" about him.

"I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don't respond too," he wrote on Instagram.

The 'Saltburn' actor added, "I have to respond now because it's gettin to a place where there are too many lines being crossed. I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work."

"The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and every other inhumane thing you can imagine," he continued.

Keoghan stated that people have been "dragging my character and everything I worked extremely hard for and stand for."

He added, "Talking about how I was a heroine baby and how I grew up and dragging my dear mother into it also. Knocking on my grannies door."

Later, he revealed that he is making fatherhood his top priority, saying he is very eager for his 2-year-old son, Brando, from his previous relationship with Alyson Sandro Kierans, to have an adult role model.

"I need you to remember he has to read ALL of this about his father when he is older. Please be respectful to all. Thank u x," he concluded.

Keoghan's post followed reports that he and Carpenter had broken up after a year of dating. Keoghan and Carpenter "decided to take a break" about a year after they started dating, a source told PEOPLE on December 3.
