Inside Christina Hall's 3 marriages to Tarek EI Moussa, Ant Anstead and Josh Hall in less than 10 years
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christina Meursinge Hall, a renowned real estate investor and TV personality, is making headlines after filing for divorce from Josh Hall nearly three years into their marriage.
This marks her third high-profile split since rising to fame in 2013. Before her relationship with Josh, Christina was married to Tarek El Moussa, from 2009 to 2016.
After finalizing her divorce from Tarek in January 2018, Christina married 'Wheeler Dealer's' co-host Ant Anstead that December. The couple was married for two years before separating in November 2020.
Let’s take a closer look at Christina's three marriages in less than 10 years.
Christina and Josh Hall
Christina began dating Austin-based realtor Josh in July 2021, with sources reporting that they had an “immediate, real connection” and enjoyed getting to know each other away from outside distractions.
Their relationship progressed quickly and Christina confirmed their engagement in September 2021. The couple married secretly on October 6, 2021, later celebrating with an intimate oceanfront ceremony in Hawaii in 2022.
Christina and Josh frequently shared glimpses of their life on social media, and Josh made several appearances on Christina’s HGTV spinoff, 'Christina in the Country', during its first season in 2023.
In March 2024, Josh posted a tribute to Christina on Instagram while they were on a trip to Mexico, celebrating their strong relationship. The post included a photo of them sharing a passionate kiss, with the caption, “Still going strong…03/2024, 03/2023, 03/2022, 03/2021.” Christina added in the comments, “Stilllll love you & Cabo.”
However, the couple decided to separate after less than three years of marriage, with Josh citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their divorce.
They listed their separation date as July 8, 2024, and according to legal documents, Josh is requesting spousal support from Christina.
Notably, the couple does not have children together, as per USAToday.
Christina and Ant Anstead
Christina started dating British TV host Ant Anstead in November 2017, and their relationship became public in January 2018. The couple had a surprise winter wonderland-themed wedding at their Newport Beach home in December 2018.
Christina and Ant welcomed their son, Hudson London, in September 2019. Unexpectedly, the tragic phase opened in September 2020 when Christina announced their separation after less than two years of marriage.
Their divorce was finalized in June 2021, with both parents sharing joint custody of Hudson. In a September 2020 Instagram post, Christina wrote, "Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority."
Following the split, Ant shared with PEOPLE in June 2021 that the divorce gave him a new perspective on life. "When my divorce went through, I packed up my clothes and moved. I walked away completely and left everything [at our family home]," he recalled. "I've realized how little I need, and what's important. I don't need anything but Hudson and my health."
After his divorce from Christina, Ant began dating actress Renee Zellweger in June 2021.
Christina and Tarek El Moussa
Tarek and Christina first met in 2005 while working as real estate agents at Prudential in California. Their relationship quickly transitioned from colleagues to partners, and by October 2006, they were living together.
The couple married in April 2009 and welcomed their first child, daughter Taylor Reese, in September 2010. A few years later, they expanded their family with the arrival of their son, Brayden James, in August 2015.
Their mutual passion for real estate led them to propose a house-flipping show which resulted in HGTV's successful series 'Flip or Flop' in 2013. The show combined their love for real estate with a personal glimpse into their lives and ran for a total of 10 seasons.
Despite their professional achievements, their personal life faced significant obstacles. In May 2016, a gun-related incident at their home prompted police intervention, although Tarek later clarified it was a misunderstanding.
This incident marked a turning point for the couple, and they announced their separation later that year, with Tarek filing for divorce in January 2017.
After finalizing their divorce in January 2018, they continued to co-parent their children while working together on 'Flip or Flop' until the show's conclusion in 2022.
