In the filing, Josh, 43, is seeking spousal support from Christina, 41. A source close to the HGTV star confirmed that she has also filed for divorce. PEOPLE reached out to a representative for HGTV but did not receive an immediate response. TMZ first broke the news.

Christina and Josh secretly tied the knot in 2021 and later celebrated with a romantic wedding ceremony in Hawaii in September 2022, attended by close friends and family. This was Christina's third marriage; she was previously married to Tarek El Moussa, her former 'Flip or Flop' co-star, and Celebrity IOU: Joyride host Ant Anstead.

Christina shares three children: daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with El Moussa, and son Hudson, 4, with Anstead.

In May 2024, Josh and Christina announced their new HGTV show, 'The Flip Off,' where they would compete against Tarek and his current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, flipping homes. The series is set to premiere in 2025, but it is unclear how the divorce will affect the show.

Christina and Josh's relationship became public in July 2021 when a source revealed to PEOPLE that Christina was dating a new man in real estate. The source described their connection as immediate and genuine.

In March 2024, Josh posted a tribute to Christina on Instagram, celebrating their strong relationship during a trip to Mexico. The post featured a photo of the couple sharing a passionate kiss with the caption, “Still going strong…03/2024, 03/2023, 03/2022, 03/2021.” Christina responded in the comments, “Stilllll love you & Cabo.”

The announcement of Christina Hall and Josh Hall's impending divorce has ignited a flurry of reactions online. Social media users have been quick to share their thoughts on the HGTV star's third marriage coming to an end after nearly three years.

"Maybe this divorce will make her realize she doesn't need to marry everyone she dates," one user commented.

"She must be a very high maintenance person, & very difficult to live with. I agree with others… don’t date, & focus on raising your children," another user added.

Others offered advice on personal growth and independence. "She needs to get herself right. Try being single and independent," one person wrote. Another added, "Christina, you need to stay single. Clearly, you are not cut out for marriage. Continue to be a great mother and do what makes you feel good."

One user noted the timing of the news with a hint of skepticism: "Saw that coming. It was longer than I thought it would be, and she just did an article talking about her strong marriage."
