Insider reveals 'emotional' reason why Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon won't be tying the knot

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: From their first public appearance at a Bono concert in November 2022, Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon have been the picture of modern romance.
Yet, despite a relationship that seems stronger than ever after two years together, one thing remains certain, as insiders reveal that the pair won't get married or have children.

Brad Pitt is 'totally in love' but won't be marrying Ines de Ramon
“He’s 61 and loving his life just the way it is,” a source told the Daily Mail, adding, “Brad is totally in love with Ines, but he doesn't want to go down the road of marriage and kids.”
Though his inner circle, including close friend George Clooney, has reportedly “signed off on him doing it,” Pitt seems resolute in staying off the marital path.
Those close to him hoped that marrying de Ramon might serve as a symbolic closing chapter to his tumultuous romantic history with both Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.

But the actor appears far more interested in peace than pageantry.
What stands in the way of Pitt taking the plunge again, according to insiders, it's not a lack of love but the residue of emotional trauma.
“He's been burned badly by the divorce from Angelina and his kids wanting little if nothing to do with him,” the source revealed.
Although Pitt and Jolie finalized their divorce in December 2023, the drama hasn’t ended there.
Brad Pitt’s divorce heartbreak still lingers
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's bitter custody battle still lingers, and the actor remains estranged from at least five of their six children. In a painful turn, many of their children have dropped his last name and refuse to see him.
“It’s not like he’s out celebrating [finalizing the divorce]. Brad said he’s tired of Angelina playing the victim role when he’s the one who has been stripped of his family, his kids,” another source explained.

One especially traumatic moment that still casts a shadow over Pitt’s personal life is the reported booze-fueled altercation on a private jet in 2016, the alleged tipping point that led to his separation from Jolie.
During that infamous flight, their eldest son Maddox, now 22, was allegedly hurt while attempting to defend his mother.

Jolie later referred to the incident in court as part of a pattern of “abusive” behavior.
Despite all of this, de Ramon is one of the few bright spots in Pitt’s life.
The 32-year-old jewelry designer reportedly impressed not only the actor but his friends as well.

And while they may still hold out hope for wedding bells, Pitt seems to be approaching love differently this time around, with caution, reflection, and a deep desire to avoid repeating the past.
“He wants what's best for the kids and radical forgiveness is what needs to happen in order to bring true healing into the equation,” said a close confidant.
