LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers sparked social media buzz by swiftly returning to 'The Pat McAfee Show' just a day after his segment was removed from the program amid a public dispute with Jimmy Kimmel.

Pat McAfee initially stated that Rodgers' suspension was due to the end of his season, but Richard Deitsch recently revealed that it was McAfee's personal decision to remove Rodgers' segment from the show.

Aaron Rodgers generated controversy on social media recently by alleging that TV host Jimmy Kimmel was mentioned in recently released court documents related to the associates of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, though no evidence was provided to support the quarterback's claim.

During his appearance before being removed from 'The Pat McAfee Show,' Rodgers neither apologized to Kimmel, as requested by Kimmel nor admitted to accusing Kimmel, maintaining a stance of denial regarding the accusations.

As reported by HuffPost, Rodgers appeared on 'The Pat McAfee Show' on Thursday, contradicting host McAfee's earlier announcement that the Jets QB would not be featured for the remainder of the season.

Rodgers joined the show via webcam to express his admiration for Bill Belichick, the former head coach of the New England Patriots, who had parted ways with the team on the same day. ESPN, the network airing 'The Pat McAfee Show,' chose not to provide a comment on Rodgers' unexpected return.

Following the conclusion of the video call, McAfee briefly acknowledged that although Rodgers was initially not scheduled to appear for the rest of the season, the quarterback felt compelled to show his respect for Belichick.

Controversy surrounded McAfee recently when reports surfaced, as per the Daily Mail, suggesting that McAfee personally decided to conclude Rodgers' weekly appearances on his ESPN show for the remainder of the NFL season.

According to The Athletic's Deitsch, McAfee, with creative and guest booking control, made this decision, reportedly supported by ESPN.

Additional reports, according to the Daily Mail, suggest that Rodgers was intended to feature on the show until the upcoming Super Bowl, but his clash with Kimmel prompted McAfee to terminate his weekly segments earlier than originally planned.

In addition to Rodgers, ESPN found itself amid social media discussions as they issued an apology for the remarks made by the quarterback about Kimmel during his appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show'.

Internet users call Pat McAfee the 'master of marketing'

A user talked about McAfee's marketing skills and wrote, "Master marketing. This guy has been trending 3 days this week and got another day by trolling everyone and bringing Rogers back on immediately. Playing everyone like a fiddle."

A user seemingly called out Rodgers' and wrote, "Spineless."

Another user wrote, "Again, ESPN needs to shut this mess down immediately."

A supporter of Rodgers wrote, ".@AaronRodgers12 is going to burn the @PatMcAfeeShow to the ground and walk away clean #PatMcAfee will be left in smolders & #AaronRodgers will just run over to #JoeRogan."
