The twisted wreckage in the footage is reportedly identified as a Ford truck, though it's nearly unidentifiable.

As per the accident report, Laura was behind the wheel of an F-150 when the tragedy occurred, per TMZ.

An eyewitness account reveals that Laura was navigating Highway 62 near El Paso when a truck, attempting to overtake two other vehicles, veered into her lane and collided with her vehicle head-on.

This narrative aligns with the official description of the accident provided by law enforcement.

Bystanders who witnessed the horrific event halted to assist Laura. One of them managed to extricate her from the truck by severing her seatbelt, but it appeared she may have already succumbed to her injuries as she showed no signs of life.

The driver responsible for the collision was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Mick Lynch, Laura's cousin, confirmed her untimely death to TMZ on Friday saying that the singer was en route to Dell City, her hometown, at the time of the accident.

This tragic incident occurred in the wake of another sorrowful event, where Bobbie Jean, the sister of Aaron and Nick Carter, died at the age of 41 on December 23, in Florida.
