Natalie Marie says PETA 'made her a hunter'
WWE star Eva Marie, 39, said she grew up playing team sports and didn’t have much time for her godfather’s hunting trips. She also claims that she started hunting after watching a PETA documentary about factory farming.
Marie who ranked at No 50 of the top 50 female wrestlers in the PWI Female 50 in 2016 said, "Shout out to PETA because you guys made me a hunter," adding "Thank you very much. Because they did all the hard work by showcasing factory farming… so now I’m going to go hunt my own meat. You should know where your meat comes from."
However, Eva Marie mostly focused on the nutritional benefits of wild meat. Of course, the food was a factor, as her husband, Jonathan Coyle, is passionate about well-being, health and nutrition. She said, "Anyone who has followed my journey through watching 'Total Divas' and similar content is aware of my sincere belief that health equals wealth.
"If you don’t have your health, you have nothing. I don’t care: You can be rich and have all of the things that you think will make you happy. But if you don’t have your health, then you’re done," she said,
She added that she believes hunting was one of the things humans were "meant to do." She said, "Hunting makes you appreciate food a lot more, and we make sure we have zero waste from the wild game we take," adding "When you go out there and you actually see this beautiful, majestic animal it is mind-blowing."
She went on to say, "I feel like anybody who has never done it should at least experience it once. I get that it’s not for everybody. But to experience it one time I think would do a lot of people a solid from understanding what goes into it, the love, the appreciation, all of the emotions."

Internet supports Natalie Marie over her confession about hunting
Several social media users sided with Marie, with a user writing on Fox News , "I find people against hunting curious. We're a tribal predatory species. We are -literally- genetically pre-disposed to hunt. That's what we do as a creature."
Another user said, "Purest connection between what you eat and yourself. No greater respect than to harvest an animal and it nourish your family. Kudos to her for embracing the lifestyle and giving it more public exposure. "
A user said, "All PETA does is cash checks and hold dinners to get new checks." The next user said, "PETA would step over a basket of starving kittens to protest a dove hunt."
Another user said, "PETA, I support not torturing animals, but Meat has been in our diet for 10,000 years. Just because in the last 50 years you discovered lettuce, isn't going to change our minds."
While a user said, "This is awesome. Love how some groups tend to turn people in the opposite direction. PETA, BLM, the Woke. Yep lol."
