MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Stormy Daniels defended her past remarks on social media where she referred to Donald Trump as an "orange turd" who she wanted to "flush."

The former president's lawyer, Susan Necheles, grilled the ex-adult entertainer on Thursday, May 9, if she keeps posting on social media about being the protagonist in putting Trump behind bars.

The court reviewed Defense Exhibit J-43, a prior post from Daniels, where the 45-year-old claimed that someone called her a human toilet and she cashed in on the joke in a post about the trial, insinuating she was “the best person to flush the orange turd down,” reported Fox News.

Stormy Daniels says she sticks by her flush statement regarding Donald Trump despite being an exaggeration

When asked about the "flush" statement by Trump's lawyer, Daniels said it was a "hyperbole". "I'm also not a toilet," she said according to NBC News. However, Daniels also added that she stands by the remarks she made about Trump.

When the 77-year-old was indicted in the case, Daniels tweeted about it and when people asked how they could support her, she tweeted the link to her online store.

Defense exhibits of Daniels' social media posts showed her thanking people for their support amid Trump's indictment. Daniels told the court she was celebrating the indictment and that selling merchandise was her doing her job.

Stormy Daniels can speak to dead people

Under cross-examination, Daniels also confirmed to the court that she tells people she can interact with supernational entities.

The confirmation came after she claimed in January 2022 to be a "medium" who could communicate with nonliving spirits during a fraud trial against her former lawyer, Michael Avenatti.

"I don't know, it just happens sometimes," Daniels said at the time, adding that she used "cards" and "meditation" and sometimes recorded the conversations she had with the dead.

Under cross-examination, at the time by Avenatti, Daniels was asked whether she had experienced "poltergeist phenomenon," to which she replied "Yes." However, Daniels also later said it was "all entertainment."

Trump's lawyer questioned back Daniels, "Didn't your boyfriend question your sanity?" but prosecutors objected to the question which the judge sustained.

Stormy Daniels on statement denying her encounter with Donald Trump

In the court, Daniels was asked during cross-examination about a statement she released denying the encounter between her and Trump.

Necheles read parts of the statement, specifically the portions denying Daniels had sex with Trump. Daniels said she did not write the statement, but signed it.

Necheles pointed to another statement where Daniels denied having a sexual relationship with Trump. One part reads, “I’m denying this affair because it never happened.” Daniels confirmed that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was pushing for her to sign the statement.

Donald Trump ranted outside the courtroom before cross-examination

The former president hit back at the prosecutors claiming that his New York criminal proceedings have "no case".

Trump made the comments to the press moments before entering Judge Juan Merchan's courtroom. Trump argued the case against him "should never have been brought," and argued that legal scholars believed the case to be a sham.

Internet backs Stormy Daniels' hyperbole

Netizens backed the former adult actress on her "flush the orange turd down" remark.

One X user tweeted, "Oh, the joy of watching Stormy Daniels confidently call Trump the 'orange turd' in court. The truth always finds its way out." Another wrote, "Ms. Necheles should have followed Stormy on Twitter to better prepare for cross examination."

"That attorney should’ve stopped right there and hung it up," opined a user while another said, "They're trying to rattle her for being a Porn Star. Unfortunately, she knows she's a Porn Star and knows she doesn't have to apologize for it. Defense should have expected that."

One user praised, "That's something I love about Stormy - she is so, so upfront. She takes so much abuse from the MAGA bullies - and she just smacks them over the fence. #StormyDaniels."

Another added, "I hope this is hurting Trump's heart."
