LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ongoing feud between Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj has taken an unusual turn, with social media users expressing concern over the security of Stallion's late mother's grave.

Recent reports indicate that security measures have been heightened due to fears of potential desecration by Minaj's fans.

The conflict between Minaj and Stallion escalated when Stallion released her latest track, 'HISS,' prompting Minaj to write an extensive tweet accusing her of using lines that she believed targeted her and her husband, Kenny Petty. In the tweet, Minaj listed her achievements while disparaging Stallion's projects.

Minaj also faced social media trolling after disclosing that she did not charge Stallion for their collaborative song, 'Hot Girl Summer.'

Megan Thee Stallion's mother's gravesite gets more security

TMZ reports that security has been beefed up at Stallion's mother's cemetery amid controversy stemming from Minaj's fanbase.

According to TMZ, members of Minaj's fandom, known as the Barbz, revealed the location of the cemetery where Stallion's late mother, Holly Pete, was laid to rest in 2019 following her battle with brain cancer.

Some Barbz allegedly leaked the location and encouraged others to desecrate the grave in response to perceived disses against Minaj's family in Stallion's recent song, 'HISS'.

While nothing has occurred at the gravesite, officials are on high alert. As per TMZ, the controversy began when Minaj made what many considered an inappropriate joke about Megan's mother on the streaming platform 'Stationhead', saying, "You better go conjure up your mother and apologize."

Officials believe this may have triggered the actions taken by the Barbz.

The conflict between Minaj and Stallion escalated further with Minaj warning of additional retaliation if Stallion responded to Minaj's latest song, 'Big Foot'.

Minaj vowed to release five more diss tracks targeting Stallion if she chooses to counter.
