WASHINGTON, DC: An X (formerly Twitter) user recently claimed that former President Joe Biden looks healthier than President Donald Trump in side-by-side images, after the POTUS was pictured for the first time in days following a brief "disappearance."

In recent weeks, Trump has been seen in public with swollen ankles, a severely bruised hand, and other signs that have sparked health concerns.

X user points to Trump's apparent failing health

Sharing side-by-side images of Joe Biden and Donald Trump, X user Chris D Jackson wrote, "Joe Biden vs Donald Trump today. Speaks for itself, doesn’t it?"

"When’s the media going to wake up about Trump’s failing health and give it even half the coverage they obsessed over with Biden? Or are they just gonna wait until he keels over?" they added.

Recently, a doctor reportedly cautioned the POTUS that his leg might require amputation after identifying a worrying medical issue.

Trump was recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition that affects the veins, mostly in the legs, leading to impaired blood flow back to the heart.

Though CVI is typically not considered life-threatening, it can still significantly affect comfort and daily functioning.

Relations between the two countries have been strained since Trump signed an executive order in February that claimed white South Africans are the victims of government land confiscation and race-based “genocide,” while admitting some of those Afrikaners as refugees to the United States. Trump also halted all foreign aid to South Africa and expelled the country’s Ambassador to the U.S., Ebrahim Rasool. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Meanwhile, Biden announced his cancer diagnosis in May, stating, "Cancer touches us all."

"Like Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support," the 82-year-old added.

However, despite his health troubles, Biden is writing a book that will focus on his presidency.

Internet mocks X user over post comparing Trump and Biden's health

Several internet users took a jab at X user Chris D Jackson for claiming that Joe Biden looks healthier than Donald Trump in side-by-side images.

One wrote, "I’m old enough to remember when Biden announced that he was terminally ill with cancer," and another said, "Until they start talking, then you see Joe's condition."

A person sarcastically wrote, "He is playing golf with Kai today. Looks really sick to me. You people are insane," whereas someone else quipped, "One of them has the most stressful job in the world and the other one used to have that job, but doesn't remember it."

"Yeah. One doesn’t have stage 4 prostate cancer," read another tweet. An individual remarked, "Sleeping 15 hours a day and doing nothing vs sleeping 4 hours a day and cleaning up a huge mess! Big difference!"
