Internet split as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance gets made into series of comic book sketches
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Kansas City Chiefs' dynamic tight end, Travis Kelce, is about to take a leap from the football field to the colorful pages of comic books.
TidalWave Comics, renowned for its 'FAME' series spotlighting influential personalities, has immortalized Kelce's whirlwind romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift in a dazzling array of comic book sketches.
Scheduled for release on February 7, this glossy chronicle delves into Kelce's stellar NFL career, his off-field ventures, and prominently features his high-profile relationship with Swift, as reported by The Daily Mail.
TidalWave Comics' new release focuses on Travis Kelce's life
TidalWave Comics is set to release a new comic book focused on Kelce, chronicling his standout football career as well as his personal life. The February 7 release is part of the 'FAME' comic series highlighting prominent figures.
The glossy pages follow Kelce from college football through nine Pro Bowl NFL seasons, depicting highlights like hosting Saturday Night Live, his podcast, and philanthropy work. But it also devotes special attention to Kelce's highly-publicized relationship with music superstar Swift.
Their whirlwind romance has fascinated fans this NFL season, even appearing to increase merchandise sales and social media chatter. The comic arrives just before Kelce competes in the Super Bowl on February 11, while Swift has a concert halfway around the world in Tokyo a night earlier.
But rumors swirl she may try to attend the big game too after ESPN reporter Ian Rapoport mapped out a route for Swift to jet quickly from Asia to perform cheerleader duties in Las Vegas for her football beau.
"Now she does have a concert on Saturday, February 10th at 6pm in Tokyo, how in the world could she get to the game? Let me introduce you to something called the international date line. Tokyo is 17 hours ahead. That means this concert starts at 1am Vegas time [on] the same day," Rapoport explained.
"Let's say it's a five-hour concert, about 11pm local, which is 6am, still Saturday, in Las Vegas. Figure a 12-hour flight, maybe she leaves about an hour later. Taylor Swift could still get to the Super Bowl [at] about 7 or 8pm Saturday night, just in time to party," he concluded.
