LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mandy Moore isn’t holding back. The actress and singer slammed Amazon after a package was allegedly delivered to her in-laws' home despite the fact it no longer exists due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Moore, 40, shared a jaw-dropping photo of the package sitting on the scorched remains of the property, taking to Instagram to vent her frustration, PEOPLE reported.

“Do better, Amazon. Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father-in-law’s home. Smh,” she wrote.

Amazon spokesperson Steve Kelly later issued a statement, apologizing and vowing to investigate. “We’ve reached out to Ms. Moore via Instagram to apologize for this and to ask for more information from her in-laws so we're better able to investigate what happened here," the company said.

Moore’s anger comes weeks after the Eaton Fire ripped through Los Angeles County, destroying her in-laws’ home along with those of many close friends and family members.

While the main structure of Moore and husband Taylor Goldsmith’s Altadena home survived, they lost their garage, guest house, and Goldsmith’s music studio including every instrument and piece of equipment he owned.

"We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing," Moore wrote in a heartbreaking Instagram post.

"For now. It’s not livable but mostly intact. We lost Taylor and Griffin’s studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they've ever owned. We lost our garage and back house," she said.

Mandy Moore recently took to social media to express frustration over Amazon delivering a package to her in-laws' home despite the fact that the house burned down weeks prior. However, instead of sympathy, her post was met with widespread criticism, with many arguing that the mix-up was her own responsibility.

Many online users felt Moore should have taken responsibility for the issue, rather than blaming the retailer.

One user wrote, "Do better? The fire occurred over a month ago. Why haven’t you updated your address since then? Amazon fulfilled their obligation. You do better and not blame someone else for your mistake."

The other user wrote, "Looks like they want to blame Amazon and not own up to their mistake of having it delivered there."

"Girl you need to give them a proper address amazon guys doing their jobs. Im sure the delivery guy wondered y the heck am I delivering this hear lol. He did his job. If he didnt deliver that would than become a problem for him," a user said while another user wrote, "They asked for delivery there. Amazon delivered. Should have changed address or stop the shipment."

Another user commented, "Probably should have changed the delivery address."
