CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE: Republican frontrunner Donald Trump slammed his former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, labeling her a "RINO" after she criticized his New Hampshire victory speech and advised him to adopt a "general election tone," reported The Hill.

Trump blasted his ex-aide in a Truth Social post on January 23, telling her to save the words of wisdom for GOP primary opponent Nikki Haley.

"I don't need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox. Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, 'Birdbrain,' and she's telling me what I can do better. Save your advice for Nikki!" the former President's post read.

Following his victory in the New Hampshire primary against Haley, Trump will likely be nominated by the Republican party to face Joe Biden in the presidential election in November.

Trump has been engaged in a consistent attack against his sole GOP contender after her rising voter support.

Even after his victory in the Granite State, the former President asked Haley to drop out of the campaign and even posted on Truth Social, threatening her donors to be barred permanently from the MAGA camp.

In light of Trump's refusal to stop attacks against the former UN ambassador McEnany during Fox's coverage of January 23 night's New Hampshire primary said, "I would suggest that adopting a general election tone is what you do at this point, and here's why I say this: This was actually a fairly good night for Joe Biden."

"When you look at our voter analysis, only 10 per cent said I would not vote for Joe Biden if he's the nominee. He won a plurality of voters who said he was too old; he won a majority of voters who were upset about the Gaza war," she continued.

The former White House aide said if she were in Trump's place, she would sit back and "exclusively focus on the general election."

"I take the posture of a presumptive nominee. I focus on, No 1, uniting the party, and No 2, winning the independents, which Nikki Haley won 55-39 per cent. That's what I would do," she added.

Trump has cemented his position as the Republican forerunner with his victories in Iowa and New Hampshire; however, Haley is determined to continue in the race.

Internet users slammed Trump for lashing out at his former aide for offering her advice. Pointing out that the ex-president cannot handle advice, social media users said he is turning against his supporters.

One user remarked, "Thought this was unnecessary. Kayleigh is a sweetheart. Trump cant handle a little advice?"

Another user wrote, "Like a snake, trump will always turn on you."

"He's attacking his own lol go figure," a third user added. Another stated, "He has to sound far more presidential than what he is displaying."

A fifth user questioned, "Didn’t Trump once say he wanted people around that would challenge him?"

"She said nothing wrong," opined one user.

Another response read, "Trump really dislikes women who speak their mind. Maybe even more than he dislikes former minions who speak their mind."

"Eventually he turns on everyone. Even the most devout of worshippers," a user added.
