LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Caitlyn Jenner met with a lot of backlash after she posted a chilling remark on the death of OJ Simpson.

The former olympian, and football star were close friends until the latter was accused of the murder of his late wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in June 1994.

Jenner tweeted, “Good Riddance #OJSimpson” on April 11, 2024, which received mixed reactions from the internet.

What did Caitlyn Jenner say in her memoir about OJ?

Jenner also wrote about OJ in her memoir titled ‘The Secrets of My Life', where she talked about his infamous trial, CNN reported.

“I would’ve been OK with it if they had gotten him in the first trial,” Jenner claimed Robert Kardashian Sr, Simpson’s defense attorney, told her.

“The implication was obvious that he believed OJ was guilty. I believe [Simpson] got away with two savage murders,” he reportedly had told her.

Simpson was acquitted of both murders, though he was later found guilty of Nicole’s death in a civil trial.

Caitlyn Jenner, during her appearance on ‘Big Brother VIP’, said, “Obviously he did it, and he got away with it, and at one point he even told Nicole, ‘I’ll kill you and get away with it ’cause I’m OJ Simpson.'”

Simpson was a celebrated athlete after he won the 1968 Heisman Trophy as a senior and made big in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers.
