What did Ed Gordan tell Joe Biden?

"If I’m honest with you, the enthusiasm this time around is not the same as the last time you won. There is a certain disenchantment," Gordan told the president, according to Fox News. "Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta are going to be deciding factors in that 270 you’ve got to get to. I’d like you to take a moment and tell Black America why they should turn out for you," he added.

"And quite frankly, I think the only thing age brings is a little bit of wisdom," Biden told Gordan, adding "And I think I've demonstrated that I know how to get things done for the country, in spite of the fact we're told we couldn't get it done. But there's more to do, and I'm reluctant to walk away from that."

Internet mocks Joe Biden after his remarks on Black voters

Netizens ridiculed the current US president after he addressed Black voters' "disenchantment" in an interview. Both Biden and Trump are heavily banking on the minority voters for this year's election and, as per several polls, the latter has improved his image among the people of color since the last time.

One X user tweeted, "Well Joe your heart is not with the blacks ! You know that. All the Democrats want to do is anybody and everyone to stay in power. For years the Democrats have DONE nothing for the black community. Democrats are the ones who want to blacks back into slavery."

"Democrats have been screwing over black voters for decades, and they've finally realized that," wrote another. "Talk is cheap. Your actions with the Black community reveal your heart," a user remarked and someone else said, "Sleepy Joe really really poured his heart out in the 1994 Crime Bill. I remember also him calling the black community super predators in public hearings. That's where his heart is!"

One choed, "JOE'S HEART IS WITH HUNTER AND CHINA."
