LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a fiery tweet on Friday, February 3, conservative commentator Mark Levin set the Internet abuzz with his scathing remarks against  Fani Willis.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis recently acknowledged in a court filing having a “personal relationship” with a special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, whom she hired for the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump.

Levin's tweet accused Willis of being "crooked, hypocritical, and sleazy", alleging interference in the election and an attempt to imprison President Trump and other Republicans.

Levin's accusations

"Fani Willis, just another crooked, hypocritical, sleazy Democrat interfering with the election and trying to imprison President Trump and other Republicans, has her records subpoenaed by House Republicans," wrote Levin.

The catalyst for Levin's strong words was the revelation of Willis' personal relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade, prompting House Republicans to subpoena her records.

The social media landscape exploded with reactions as users picked up on Levin's controversial tweet. Many echoed his sentiments, expressing frustration and skepticism about the perceived bias and potential misconduct within the Democratic ranks.

Others, however, defended Willis, emphasizing the importance of separating personal relationships from professional duties and emphasizing the need for a fair and impartial legal process.

Fani Willis under spotlight amid subpoena drama

Willis, a key player in the legal landscape, found herself under the spotlight as the news of her records being subpoenaed broke.

The admission of a personal relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade added fuel to the fire, drawing attention to potential conflicts of interest in ongoing legal proceedings.

Internet weighs in on Fani Willis' subpoena drama

As Mark Levin's accusatory words reverberate, social media users expressed diverse opinions on Fani Willis' subpoena saga.

One user wrote,"Quiet! Let Karma do her job!"

Another added, "The only difference between her and Trump is the letter they put by their name."

One commented, "She will defy the subpoena and Republicans will do nothing. Just more noise. Nothing will change."

Another replied, "Sounds like another season of 'America's Got Subpoenas' just dropped, starring Fani Willis and guest host, the GOP. Wonder if there'll be enough room on the witness stand for all of America's attention span."

Another wrote, "I so much agree with you. I agree with that. Let history be known about the Democratic Party that were for the Ku Klux Klan. Tell us about those Democrats states in the south that had water fountains for white and black only. Restaurants could only serve whites and black were not allowed. These were the south democrats states. I remember black and white only bathrooms. The Democratic Party is trying to erase our real history. President Biden I remember the speech which you can’t find on the Internet because they deleted he was against segregate schools busing for the blacks to go to White schools. I like some still have saved videos back from the 80."
