‘Is she kidding?’ Internet disagrees as Tina Knowles says Zendaya ‘reminds’ her of daughter Beyonce

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Zendaya has impressed everyone with her acting abilities, and now she has Beyonce’s mother praising her talent. 

Talking with Variety at the ‘Challengers’ premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 16, Tina Knowles praised the child star-turned-successful leading actress. 

“I love Zendaya! The first time I saw her, I used to watch her in the Disney series with my grandson [Solange's son Julez Smith] and she just reeked of stardom."

"She is just the most gracious, beautiful girl, and she reminds me of my daughter — she’s a Virgo like my daughter [Beyonce]!”

What to expect from Zendaya's 'Challengers'?

Zendaya’s latest flick is directed by the Academy Award nominee Luca Guadagnino, in which she plays Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach, per Billboard.

The 27-year-old tries to manage a love triangle and is on a mission to break her husband’s losing streak while he gears up to play against his former best friend.

The flick also features award-winning actors Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist, and releases on April 26, with music from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Not many people, however, agreed with Tina Knowles' comparison of her daughter Beyonce and Zendaya.

One person said, "Is she kidding?"

"Zendaya is poised and elegant. Beyonce not so much," the second wrote. 

A user suggested, "Just dont start making clothes for her….please."
