Is that Jeffrey Epstein? Viral Florida highway video sparks wild speculation online

Back in February, another picture appeared to show Jeffrey Epstein walking in a different city, but it turned out to be fake

SOUTH FLORIDA, FLORIDA: A viral video showing a man who looks eerily similar to the late Jeffrey Epstein has taken the internet by storm this week.

The footage, reportedly filmed on a South Florida highway, has restarted old rumors and left social media users arguing over whether it is actually him or just a doppelganger.

Viral highway video seemingly shows Jeffrey Epstein in a convertible

The video shows a man with gray hair and facial features that look just like Epstein’s while he is driving a convertible car in South Florida.

Even though officials said Epstein died in 2019 while in custody, this striking doppelganger has made many people wonder if the official story is true.

The video has already been watched millions of times on social media.

On the other hand, many skeptics think the video is just a case of mistaken identity or a deepfake video made by an AI to trick people, especially since new documents about Epstein were recently released.

Previous sighting proved to be fake

This isn't the first time an Epstein sighting has gone viral in 2026.

Back in February, another picture showed the disgraced financier walking in a different city, but it turned out to be fake.

Google’s SynthID tool determined with "very high" confidence that the image was created using Google AI.

An uncropped version of the image shows a Google Gemini watermark.

The person who says they created the image shared with Reuters the prompt that they said they entered the prompt into Google Gemini.

Internet divided over viral Florida video

People online are very divided about the video, with some believing it’s him and others thinking it’s impossible.

One user wrote, "Epstein's head is the size of a horse this fellow does not have the skull structure it's just a copy cat."

Some people think he would be hiding better if he were alive, with one saying, "Even if he is still alive do you really think he would drive around with his face exposed like that. Dude would be unrecognizable with plastic surgery to hide himself."

Another person agreed, asking, "Why does everyone think he’d be cruising around without changing his looks? A disguise?"

Others are more convinced, with one user posting, "This man is definitely Jeffery Epstein. @grok."

Some felt bad for the driver, saying, "Oh god some innocent guy driving and has no idea someone is recording him because he resembles the most prolific serial predator in our lifetime."

Another added, "I am not sure it is him but I am pretty sure he is alive somewhere."

Another commented with disbelief, "No difference."
